WOMEN'S NETWORK SUPPORTS WOMEN IN MISSIONS
We want to highlight one of our ongoing ministries...Central's Women's Network adopted two missionary families who we stay connected with through prayer, words of encouragement, and financial support. During our morning Bible Studies, we take an offering the first Tuesday of the month.
Both families have been
sent out from the Central Bapstist congregation. Neil and Jenny Downey work with Campus Crusade for Christ. They live in Sioux Falls and fellowship with us at Central Baptist Church. The Downeys' ministry reaches college students for Christ throughout the Sioux Empire. Neil and Jenny have four children. Jason and Linda Hopkins minister in Kenya with Wycliffe Bible Translators. They are pioneering a work to reach the deaf community in Africa for Christ. Jason and Linda have five children who now make there new home in Nairobi, Kenya. As we continue to be Christ-followers, God leads us to partner with them. Continue looking up to God for all things, looking in at ourselves to grow and mature, and outward to work in the world.
