Jennifer Kennedy Dean, respected author and speaker is coming to Central on Thursday evening, April 22, 2010, 7:00pm.

Dean is Executive director of The Praying Life Foundation and has spoken at Billy Graham's Training Center, Focus on the Family and has written many outstanding studies for women.

She is the author of numerous books on prayer, as well as numerous magazine articles and curricula on spiritual development.  Her classic book, Heart's Cry, has been named the signature book for National Day of Prayer and you will find articles and daily quotes from Jennifer at the National Day of Prayer web site.

Explore the Christ of the New Testament witness, beginning in Matthew by exploring how Jesus is the fulfillment of the Old Testament. The gospels and the letters reveal different aspects of Christ in each book. The testimony of the New Testament to Jesus is both rich in its diversity, and, at the same time, recognizably, a united witness.

The Prodigal God reveals an unexpected message of hope, using an intellectual approach to understanding Christianity.

PUGGLES CHILDCARE

Moms, as you attend Tuesday morning studies, your children will enjoy a great time studying Puggles, a Bible program designed by Awana for Toddler & Preschool.  The Puggles program teaches God made everything, God saw that it was good, God is love, and give thanks. 

Puggles teaches simple lessons through teaching cards, activities, music and more.

Then parents—always the first and best teacher—can step in to reinforce the lessons with take-home cards.   

    Nursery.................................... (babies)

     Pre-school (3-5 years & toilet trained)

Fees for 6-week class:        

     One child                                          $25

     Two children                                    $50

     More than two, $10 per child

Overheard conversation from a Puggles Childcare teacher: 

“In Puggles class on Tuesday morning, there was a little boy who was sitting quietly. As I taught the lesson of "Jesus loves all the children" he sat listening to what I had to say. 

After the lesson the children cut out construction paper hands and taped them on their backs as if they had just been "hugged by Jesus". 

This little boy looked up at me and said

"Jesus loves me?....

and he just gave me a hug? ...That’s exciting!"

To this I replied that Jesus loves him and gives him hugs everyday.

It was just one of those moments when you know you were meant to be there.”
