PROCESS

The new constitution and bylaw adoption schedule be amended as follows:

Present formal motions for adoption at the July 2010 Quarterly Business Meeting, with final action to be taken at the October 2010 Quarterly Business Meeting. Motion carried.

A Constitutional Review Committee has been meeting informally for over 6 years. In 2009 the Constitutional Review Committee comprised of Bill Hofer (Elder Chair), James Petersen (Senior Pastor), Rich Rahn (Elder), Matt McCaulley (Elder), Rusty Williams (Elder; Treasurer), and Rob Codding (Staff Liaison; Director of Operations) met to review the current "Articles of Incorporation", "Constitution" and "Bylaws" with a goal of resolving contradictions, conflicts, duplications, ambiguities and document drift.

The resulting drafts have been reviewed by the Elders, Ministry Staff, and Board Chairs. Based on feedback from these groups revisions have been made. The resulting draft documents can be downloaded below. On September 13, 16, 19 and 20 of 2009 the draft documents were presented to the congregation of Central in informational meetings. On September 13, 16 and 20 feed back sessions were held to hear thoughts, suggested edits and comment from the Central's Membership. During November this feedback will be incorporated into a revised draft for presentation to the membership for review and comment in late November through mid December The final text and motion are tentatively planned for presentation at the January annual Business Meeting.
